About Me

Hey there!

My name is Alexis and I am the creator of this blog.

You can follow me on FB  HERE!!!!

After reading, following, and obsessing over various Speech Blogs, I have decided to TAKE THE PLUNGE and develop my own.  I felt very nervous but OH SO EXCITED to begin this journey.

What I love MOST about my job is LEARNING!!  With this career, learning is endless…HELLO!!  Isn’t that why we are REQUIRED to get CEU’s?!

With this blog, I hope to share practical ideas for Therapy and useful resources.  By practical, I also mean affordable as well as encompassing.

I have found another passion – Health and Fitness!

I completely believe in investing in HEALTH, whether it be getting facials for healthy skin or buying new programs or equipment for my at-home gym…I am committed to feeling good with an added bonus of looking good!  I know that I’ll be living in this skin for the next 50 years or so…so I better take care of it.  I need to take care of me!  As women, we can get so caught up with our maternal instincts and want to take care of others, but it is mentally, emotionally, and physically important to take care of our wants and needs too!

My Health and Fitness FB page can be found HERE!  I am also a Beachbody coach (something that has truly held me accountable and motivated me to continue and achieve a healthy lifestyle!).  Check out my Beachbody page HERE.
